1. Overview
These terms govern your use of waldroid.com, our project engagements, our booking system ("Meetroid"), and our two apps, Vutar and FreelancerTax. By using any of these, you agree to the terms below. Where a term only applies to one product, it's in its own section.
2. Studio services (web, app & website projects)
When Waldroid Digital LTD takes on a client project, the scope, timeline, and price are agreed in writing before work starts (a proposal, statement of work, or equivalent). Unless otherwise agreed in that document:
- Ownership of the final deliverables and source code transfers to you on final payment.
- Work is delivered in stages, and each stage is signed off before the next begins.
- Cancelling a project part-way through means you pay for work completed to that point; any deposit covering work already done is non-refundable.
- We carry standard liability for the work we do, but we're not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of what we build.
3. Booking & payments (Meetroid)
Meetroid is our own scheduling tool for booking calls with us. When you book a paid session, payment is taken by card via Stripe, or confirmed manually from a payment-proof screenshot for bank transfers — your slot is only confirmed once payment clears or is approved. Reschedule or cancellation requests should be sent to contact@waldroid.com as early as possible; refunds for missed sessions are at our discretion and depend on how much notice you gave.
4. Vutar app terms
- Vutar is available on iOS via the App Store, priced at $5.99 per week or $39.99 per year.
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase, and subscriptions renew automatically unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- There is no free trial on either plan. You can view the app's dashboard before subscribing, and unlock routines, journal, and insights when you're ready.
- Vutar is a self-tracking tool to help you notice patterns in your routines, mood, and journal entries. It is not a medical device, a diagnosis, or a treatment, and does not provide medical, psychological, or clinical advice.
- Because all your logged data lives on your device only (see our Privacy Policy), we cannot recover it for you if your device is lost, reset, or the app is deleted. Export a backup from Settings → Your data if you want one.
5. FreelancerTax app terms
- FreelancerTax is priced at $10/month or $39/year, with a 3-day free trial, no strings attached.
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation. Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period — manage or cancel anytime in your device's Settings.
- FreelancerTax gives an estimate, not tax advice. Confirm your figures with a tax professional, the IRS, HMRC, CRA, ATO, or Nigeria's tax authority before filing.
- You're responsible for the accuracy of the income, expense, and receipt data you enter — FreelancerTax's estimates are only as good as the information you give it.
6. General terms
- These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales for our UK operations, and the laws of Nigeria for our Nigeria operations, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
- We may update these terms from time to time; the "last updated" date at the top of this page will always reflect the current version, and continuing to use our services after a change means you accept it.
- If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest continues to apply.
